Resources of the Presidential Library presented to teachers of Sverdlovsk region

On December 11, 2024, specialists from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, organized a practice-oriented seminar for teachers, educators, and librarians from the Reftinsk Special Educational Institution of a Closed Type.

During the event, participants were introduced to the pedagogical potential of the Presidential Library's resources and materials available on its portal and in its collections. Special attention was paid to the use of the electronic reading room, as reliable sources presented within the library's collection offer new opportunities for educational purposes.

It should be noted that the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was opened in May this year, based on the Reftinsky special education institution of a closed type. This was made possible with the support of the Tyumen branch of the Presidential Library.

The Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History collection is available on the Presidential Library's portal. It includes statistical data, research, essays, and photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries, highlighting various aspects of the region's development.
