Presidential Library and Academy of Talents of St. Petersburg pursue common goals and aims
On December 19, 2024, representatives from the Presidential Library participated in a ceremony to honor the strategic partners of the State Educational Institution Academy of Talents.
The event was held to mark the 10-year anniversary of the founding of the Academy, one of the leading institutions that supports gifted children in St. Petersburg in areas such as science, art, and sports. The Academy also promotes the personal development and professional growth of these talented young people.
Yuri Nosov, the Director General of the Presidential Library, has sent a congratulatory message to the staff of the Academy of Talents. In his message, he said that the Presidential Library and the Academy share common goals for preserving and promoting historical and cultural heritage, as well as strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values and educating the younger generation in history and patriotism.
In 2023, the two organizations signed a cooperation agreement during the Knowledge Forum at the Presidential Library.
Today, more than ever, it is essential to foster a culture of students relying on reliable primary sources to study the history of Russia and other countries, as well as to work towards preserving and strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values.
The Presidential Library implements numerous educational and cultural projects for young people, such as the Knowledge Forum, olympiads, competitions, quizzes, video lectures, and multimedia lessons, among others. These initiatives are designed to strengthen patriotism, promote traditional values, and preserve historical memory.
