
Resources of Presidential Library presented to school librarians of Yekaterinburg
On December 12th and 19th, 2024, experts from the Regional Presidential Library Center, based at the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, conducted training seminars for school librarians in Chkalovsky and Ordzhonikidzevsky districts of Yekaterinburg.
The attendees were informed about the educational potential of the Presidential Library's resources and introduced to materials on its website and collections. They learned how to use an electronic reading room and different search methods. Special emphasis was placed on projects such as Presidential Library for Teachers: Teaching with Primary Sources, the Olympiad Russia in Electronic World, and the competition Future of the Fatherland in Hands of a Teacher. Participants also learned about the most efficient ways to utilize these resources in their work.
At the end of the event, participants noted the practical importance of the seminar.
The collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History is available on the Presidential Library's portal. It includes statistical materials, research papers, essays, and photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries, highlighting various aspects of the region's development.
