
Bashkortostan schoolchildren learned materials from Presidential Library dedicated to Battle of Stalingrad
An educational event for schoolchildren took place in the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, which based on the Roshchinsky rural library model in the Sterlitamak district of Bashkortostan, dedicated to a significant event in our country's history - the victory of the Soviet people in the Battle of Stalingrad.
During the event, Dedicated to Stalingrad..., schoolchildren were introduced to thematic collections from the Presidential Library and a collection of digitized archival documents, films, and photographs titled World War II in Archival Documents.
The children were told about the Great Patriotic War and how our soldiers defended Stalingrad from the Nazi invaders. They learned about the defense of the Pavlov House, which became an important stronghold during this time.
An electronic presentation called Stalingrad: 200 Days of Courage and Perseverance accompanied the event. At the end, the students watched a video course called A Fundamental Change: The Battle of Stalingrad on the President's Library portal.
The Republic of Bashkortostan: Pages of Historycollection is also available on the Presidential Library portal. It includes research papers, essays, archival documents, statistics, maps, and audio-visual materials that cover various aspects of the region's development during the 18th and 21st centuries.
