Presidential Library and All-Russian Pushkin Museum signed roadmap for development of cooperation until 2030

10 February 2025

On February 10th, 2025, the Presidential Library of the Administrtive Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Pushkin Museum signed a Joint Action Plan (Roadmap) for the Development of Cooperation for 2025-2030. The event took place as part of the conference-webinar A.S. Pushkin Memorial Day at the Presidential Library.

Yuri Nosov, Director General of the Presidential Library, said that the roadmap will allow them to implement a number of educational projects, including the exchange of documents and materials related to Pushkin's work and holding joint events aimed at fostering spiritual and moral values.

Olga Korneva, Director of the All-Russia Pushkin Museum, emphasized that the signing of the roadmap was the result of a lot of collaborative work and a beginning of a great journey for their institutions.

The parties agreed to collaborate on the implementation of projects related to historical events, such as the 200th anniversary of the Decembrist Uprising and the 150th and 100th anniversaries of the All-Russian Pushkin Museum.

Joint conferences, webinars, and video lectures are planned, as well as the selection and digitalization of documents and original graphics from the All-Russian Pushkin Museum's collection and the poet's lifetime works from the museum's library to enrich the collections of both institutions.

A significant aspect of the collaboration will be the transfer of digitized materials from the Pushkin – War – Blockade exhibition, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, to the Presidential Library's collection.

In 2025, the Presidential Library will open an electronic reading room in the All-Russian Pushkin Museum, which will provide access to all the documents and materials from the library's collection.

The roadmap events were a result of an ongoing cooperation agreement between the Presidential Library and the All-Russian Pushkin Museum, signed a year ago. Cooperation between these institutions has been ongoing since 2015 and has developed in various areas. For instance, the Presidential Library holds an annual conference called A.S. Pushkin Memorial Day, which brings together museum professionals, and a documentary film has been produced about the famous museum apartment of the poet at 12 Moika Street.

The collection of the Presidential Library contains a vast amount of documents and materials related to the life and works of the great poet.

These materials are available on the library's portal in a dedicated electronic collection called Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837). This collection includes digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, dissertations, videos, images, and other resources.
