On February 12, 2025, the Regional Center of the Presidential Library in Penza, based at the M.Yu. Lermontov Penza Regional Library, hosted a multimedia game called Young Citizen for fifth-grade students of Boris Fedorovich Zubkov School No. 38.

During the event, students learned about the state symbols of the Russian Federation and the duties of the president. They also explored the history of national holidays and traditions.

Students were introduced to the cultures and customs of various ethnic groups in Russia through national dances, traditional costumes, and ancient riddles.

As part of the competition, the students also created colorful posters dedicated to the major holidays of our country.

A separate part of the event was dedicated to the Russian language, which is the official language of the Russian Federation. Students were presented with materials from the collection of the Presidential Library, including a 19th-century school manual by Leo Tolstoy on teaching children to read and write.

The winner of the game, Young Citizen, was the team of Samovary, who showed creativity and knowledge.
