Multimedia exhibition "Four Seasons" presented in Presidential Library
On March 17, 2025, the Presidential Library opened a multimedia exhibition of drawings "The Seasons", the authors of which are the wards of the St. Petersburg Public Organization for the disabled "Down Center".
The plasma panels feature about 70 artworks made in various techniques: watercolor, gouache and wax crayons. They reflect different views on the seasons and their manifestation in nature: a winter meadow, a frozen lake, cherry blossoms, meadows covered with tulips, a colorful autumn forest, etc. Different animals and birds also became the heroes of the drawings.
The St. Petersburg Public organization for the Disabled "Down Center" was founded in 2003. It is the only organization in the Northwest region that unites more than 250 families with children and adults with Down syndrome. The Down Center provides informational and psychological assistance to families with "sunny" children, organizes educational classes and leisure activities, promotes the dissemination of truthful information about Down syndrome, helps parents accept a child's diagnosis and live a fulfilling life.
The Four Seasons exhibition at the Presidential Library will run until April 18, 2025. To visit the exhibition, please make an appointment by phone (812) 334-25-14 or send an email to excursion@prlib.ru.
