On March 17, 2025, Olga Zayakina, a tour guide at the State Museum of Urban Sculpture, delivered a lecture at the Presidential Library as part of the Knowledge of Russia video series.

In her lecture, Olga discussed the defenders of Crimea who were included in the National Pantheon of Russia. She shared information about military and political figures who contributed to the expansion of the Russian Empire along the Black Sea coast and the annexation of Crimea.

The lecture focused on Russian diplomat Alexander Bezborodko, admirals Alexey Senyavin and Nikolai Mordvinov, and the first Russian artillery general Pyotr Melissino.

The event is part of the Triumph of the Victors project, which is organized by the State Museum of Urban Sculpture with support from the Russian Military Historical Society. The goal of the project is to promote patriotic values and the cultural heritage of Russia through the stories of heroes and events from the National Pantheon.

Within the framework of this project, three lectures will be held. The first lecture took place on February 21st, 2025, and was about prominent statesmen and military leaders of Russia whose memory is honored in the National Pantheon. Speakers discussed Field Marshal B.P. Sheremetev, General I. A. Hannibal, Generals P. A. Stroganov, F. P. Uvarov and others. These figures are remembered for their contributions to Russian history, including their roles in the Northern War and the Patriotic War of 1812.
