Presidential Library traditionally hosts participants of "Russia is My Fatherland" conference

On March 27, 2025, the Presidential Library hosted one of the events of the Moscow Open Conference, which was attended by representatives from various regions of the Russian Federation. The conference was dedicated to design and research in the fields of history and local history under the topic Russia is My Fatherland - 2025.

The conference was organized by the Moscow Center for Educational Practices and Kaptsov School No. 1520, with the support of the Moscow Department of Education and Science. The aim of the conference was to promote students' intellectual development and foster their skills in independent learning and cognitive projects.

The purpose of the conference is to promote interethnic harmony, civic unity, and tolerance by developing students' intellectual and creative abilities and fostering their social skills through project and research activities. The conference is attended by students aged 7-18 from educational institutions in Moscow and other regions of Russia, as well as from near and far abroad countries.

In 2025, participants were invited to present their work on significant events in Russian history, prominent personalities, the history of cities, traditions, and culture of Russia's diverse peoples, and their family histories. One of the conference's thematic tracks was dedicated to Moscow, its history, landmarks, architectural treasures, famous residents, and more.

On March 27, scientific sessions of the conference sections – defending the participants' design work – were held at the Reserve Center of the Presidential Library in Moscow, as well as at the sites of museums, cultural institutions, and higher educational institutions of the Russian capital. Experts from the Presidential Library also participated in the event as members of the jury.

The results of the open conference of design and research works on history and local lore Russia is My Fatherland - 2025 will be announced on March 28, 2025. On the same day, the award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners will take place.
