Regional Centre of Presidential Library in Altai Krai joined International Historical Game ‘1418’

The Regional Centre of the Presidential Library, based on the V. Y. Shishkov Altai Krai Universal Scientific Library, joined the International Historical Intellectual Online Game ‘1418’. It was organised to prepare for the International educational and patriotic action Dictation of Victory. The participants of the event were pupils of Gymnasium No. 45.

The game consisted of two blocks of questions dedicated to the main events of World War II and the Great Patriotic War: ‘From the Baltic to the Carpathians’ and ‘Uniting in the face of the enemy’.

The collection of digitised archival documents, film and photo materials World War II in Archival Documents is available on the Presidential Library's portal. Its volume today is almost 14 thousand materials: maps, schemes, periodicals, photographs, newsreels. On 13 March 2025 more than 100 documents covering the events of the Great Patriotic War in the period from 14 February to 13 March 1945 were included in the Collection. Thanks to the Presidential Library's portal these documents are available from anywhere in the world.

The collection Altai Territory: Pages of History is also available on the Presidential Library's portal. It includes archival documents, studies, essays, reviews, audio-visual and other materials covering various aspects of the region's development in different historical periods.
