Crimean teachers learned resources of Presidential Library dedicated to the Great Patriotic War

Specialists of the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library, operating on the basis of the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library, held a training session for young history teachers on information search and work with electronic library systems - "What? Where? How?": search for documents and work with ELS". The participants were introduced to the resources of the Presidential Library dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.

Special attention was paid to the Collection of digitised archival documents, film and photo materials Second World War in Archival Documents. As of today, its volume amounts to almost 14,000 materials: maps, charts, periodicals, photographs and newsreels. On 13 March 2025 more than 100 documents covering the events of the Great Patriotic War in the period from 14 February to 13 March 1945 were included in the Complex. Thanks to the Presidential Library portal, these documents are accessible from anywhere in the world. The complex is structured in thematic order and contains rare copies of documents that can give the reader a clear picture of heroic events of the past.

The project The Presidential Library for Teachers: Teaching with Primary Sources, which introduces the possibilities of using the resources of the institution in educational activities, also aroused great interest among the audience.

On the Presidential Library portal one can get acquainted with the collection "The Republic of Crimea: Pages of History". It contains archival documents, studies, essays, photographs and other materials covering various aspects of the peninsula's development from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century.
