Work of E. M. Primakov will add to the Presidential Library stock

Official contribution of 10-volume collected works of Yevgeny Primakov to the library took place on March 2, 2017, in the Presidential Library within the “Readings from Primakov” conference.

The “Readings from Primakov” conference is a tribute to an outstanding statesman, diplomat, scientist Yevgeny Primakov, who has left a huge cultural heritage behind.

The panelists came to conclusion that the legacy of Yevgeny Primakov remains relevant to this day. Vice-governor of the Leningrad Oblast on domestic policy Sergei Perminov highlighted that Yevgeny Primakov as a politician, a scholar and a sincere patriot of Russia, belongs to the galaxy of in demand of the epoch personalities. He expressed the hope that holding of the readings will be a new stage in the dialogue between the representatives of the business community, public authorities and academics.

Vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation Maxim Fateyev has shared on his memories of about the personality of Yevgeny Primakov and his activities as president of the Chamber of Commerce of Russia. “I personally knew Primakov, and it is great that we are now having the “Primakov readings” here. I am absolutely sure that, apart from facilitating a process of full understanding of the rich heritage of Yevgeny Primakov, the ridings will also stimulate further development of his thoughts and ideas,” - said Maxim Fateyev.

An audience was offered with a screening of a documentary film about Y. M. Primakov, dedicated to the brightest points of his biography and his role in the politics, economy and science, in the development of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

The system of Chambers of Commerce Yevgeny Primakov saw as a primary link between business with society and state institutions. Yevgeny Primakov used all his leading abilities in order to convert the national business into an influential social force.
