Career development course for teachers began in Kyrgyzstan Karakol

The career development trainings, meant to enhance the professional qualifications of teachers of Kyrgyzstan, organized by the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), began its work on August 16, 2017, with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo Branch in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

A large-scale Rossotrudnichestvo project is being implemented in seven CIS countries, including Kyrgyzstan. Along the course of the project, teaching staff of the Russian schools in the CIS countries — the primary school, the Russian Language Arts, and Mathematics and Physics majors — will improve their professional competence.

Overall, in Karakol there will be 60 primary school and Russian Language Arts pedagogues from the ten cities. Leading Russian specialists from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the Russian State University of Technology and Design named after A. N. Kosygin, Moscow Pedagogical State University will appear with their lectures, master classes and methodological workshops.

The program of the courses includes an overview of current Russian pedagogical solutions, a resent methodology of teaching Russian language class, practical aspects of studying Russian poetry of the XX century, and an innovative system of literary education for the kids of junior school level. The Russian teachers will introduce new Russian language teaching aids to listeners right in the classrooms.

There is an electronic collection on Russian language on the Presidential Library website. The collection includes the manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival cases, scientific works (including dissertations and abstracts of dissertations), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. Apart from the scientific and educational community, linguists and specialists in promotion of the Russian language online, the digital collection dedicated to “Russian language” is a valuable source of information for a wide range of users who appreciate their native language.
