Director General of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve visited the Presidential Library

On Wednesday, August 30, 2017, the Director General of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve Natalia Grigorieva visited the Presidential Library. Working talks were held with the Director General Alexander Vershinin. The meeting began with the congratulations of the head of the museum on her birthday. It was noted that the arrival in Saint-Petersburg on such a holiday shows how much Natalia Vasilievna is fond of her work, how attentive to the development of the institution she is.

The Presidential Library, on the basis of the agreement, is developing active cooperation with the Novgorod Museum-Reserve, and joint documentary and methodical films are released annually. So, on August 30, the Presidential Library hosted the premiere screening of the painting "Graffiti of St. George's Cathedral of the Yuriev Monastery". In the work of the new paintings, a joint film festival of the Presidential Library, the Novgorod and Yuriev Diocese is planned.

The cooperation of the Presidential Library with the Novgorod region has been developing since 2013. On June 30, 2013, cooperation agreements were signed with the Novgorod Regional Universal Scientific Library. On May 18, 2017 an agreement was signed between the Presidential Library and the Novgorod region.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "The Novgorod region: pages of history". The collection presents statistical and cartographic materials, studies and essays of the XIX - early XX century, which introduce the geographical, ethnographic, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the history of the Novgorod region.
