Delegation of the Chongqing Municipal Culture Administration and Chongqing Library visited the Presidential Library

On August 31, 2017, the delegation of the Chongqing Municipal Culture, Radio Broadcasting, Film and Television Administration and the Chongqing Library visited the Presidential Library. As part of the visit, working negotiations were held with the General Director of the Presidential Library Alexander Vershinin. The ways of cooperation in cultural and exhibition activities were discussed.

Based on the Memorandum, the Presidential Library is actively developing cooperation with the Chongqing Library. Among the most significant projects, the exhibition of Russian-Chinese photo documents, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War, and the filming of a documentary about the activities of the Presidential and Chongqing libraries, are worth mentioning.

The cooperation of the Presidential Library with Chongqing has been developing since 2014. On August 19, 2014, a Memorandum on Cooperation was signed between the Presidential Library and the Chongqing Library.

On the Presidential Library website there is the “Russia-China: on the history of relations” electronic collection, which tells about the socio-economic, administrative and demographic development of China as a whole, its separate territories and cities, as well as various aspects of the relations between the two countries in the field of diplomatic affairs, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation for several centuries.
