Seminar-workshop "Our information is Your Success!" for teachers of natural sciences of secondary schools in the A. K. Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library

September 21 at the Center for Environmental Culture and Information of the A. K. Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library was held a workshop "Our Information - Your Success!" for teachers of natural sciences of general schools in the Kurgan region. 

The intensive program of the seminar included acquaintance with the library's electronic resources - a website, an electronic catalog, own and external databases - including full-text databases. Special interest among the seminar participants was caused by familiarity with the information resources of the Presidential Library. In the center of public access to library information, the seminar participants learned about the history of the creation and development of the Presidential Library, they got familiar with the possibilities of using the electronic services of the Presidential Library portal in the work of teachers. At the end of the event the teachers became readers of the Presidential Library, the content of which, undoubtedly, will be useful to them in the educational process.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Kurgan region: pages of history". The collection includes studies, statistical essays, archival documents, cartographic and photographic materials of the XIX - beginning of the XXI century, characterizing the administrative, socio-economic, geographical position of the Kurgan and Shadrinsky districts, the territory of which forms the basis of the modern Kurgan region.
