The Tambov regional center of the Presidential Library summed up the results of the photo contest "Happy anniversary, Tambov region!"

September 22, 2017, on the eve of the anniversary of the Tambov region in the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library, the final chords of the regional photo contest "Happy anniversary, Tambov region!", which was initiated by the regional access center to the information resources of the Presidential Library, were sounded. The contest was held with the support of the Administration of the Tambov region, the Department of Public Relations and Information Policy of the Administration of the Head of the Administration of the Tambov region, the Administration of Tambov, the Department of Culture and Archives of the Tambov region, the Tambov newspaper "Tambov Life", the "Tambov Heritage" Charitable Foundation, TOGAUK "Tambovconcert", the Central Tambov Park of Culture and Leisure for the 80th anniversary of the Tambov region.  

The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the photo contest was attended by the deputy of the Regional Duma I. V. Telegin, the deputy of the City Duma L. I. Bulgakov, the library's director L. A. Pronina, the member of the Public Chamber of the Tambov region P. E. Ryzhevsky, the head of the department of culture Y. N. Golubeva, representatives of the editorial staff of the newspaper “Tambovskaya Zhizn” M. V. Matyushin and A. L. Sukhorukov, the director of the Tambov Heritage legacy fund I. V. Dubovitskaya and members of the jury. 

In the video greeting of the participants of the contest, the Director General of the Presidential Library Alexander Vershinin congratulated the Tambov residents on the anniversary of the Tambov region, highlighted the fringes of the long-term cooperation of the regional cultural institutions with the Presidential Library, announced the information priorities associated with the regional theme, noted the photo contest "Happy anniversary, Tambov region!" and wished good luck all the participants of the enlightenment project of the regional center of the Presidential Library.

Honorary guests of the forum made a welcoming speech and awarded diplomas and gifts to 27 winners who announced works on 10 nominations.

Another special prize was awarded to A. I. Konstantinov, who presented a video clip "Tambov, my native land" to the photo contest. The diploma and a gift from the regional center of the Presidential Library was given by the head Natalia Makarova, noting that such initiatives of the nominees oblige in the future to hold a patriotic video contest. All the participants are invited to participate in the multimedia project of the Presidential Library "Foreign View".

The organizers of the contest did not ignore the photos that displayed the memory of the Great Patriotic War. The contest received a considerable number of photographs with veterans, their grandchildren, the staff of the procession of the Immortal Regiment.

Director of the library Lyudmila Pronina presented letters of gratitude to each participant of the photo contest.

The event was attended by 120 people.
