The Library Day in the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library

September 28, the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted Library Day - a traditional annual meeting with readers, accompanied by pleasant information surprises, theatrical processions, master classes, useful life lessons.

The event started with a business visit of the Secretary of the Information Department of the Japanese Embassy in Russia Ichikawa Masayuki to the Regional Center for Access to Information Resources of the Presidential Library, opened on the basis of the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library. In the regional office of event communications was held a working meeting with representatives of regional structures. A photo-flash action "Happy anniversary, Tambov region!", organized following the results of a photo contest timed to the 80th anniversary of the region, attracted the attention of library guests throughout the day. The visitors of the regional access center to the Presidential Library's resources were invited to participate in the Multimedia Contest of the Presidential Library "Foreign View".

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Tambov region: pages of history". The collection includes studies, statistical materials and archival documents of the late XVII and early XX centuries that characterize the administrative, economic, demographic, educational and religious situation of the Tambov province.
