More than two hundred students of higher educational institutions of Barnaul visited the Altai regional center of the Presidential Library from the beginning of the academic year

Since the beginning of the new academic year, in September, the Altai Regional Center of the Presidential Library on the basis of the Shishkov Altai Regional Universal Scientific Library was visited by more than two hundred students from higher educational institutions of Barnaul.

For each group, a multimedia excursion was conducted, introducing the unique foundation of the Presidential Library. Depending on the specialization of students, one or another section of the thematic catalog was opened in detail. The students paid special attention to audiovisual materials of the fund.

The participants of the excursion with the help of the "calendar" section "The Day in History" got familiar with the historically significant dates of September, for example: the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism, the beginning of the siege of Leningrad, the birthday of the famous German scientist P. S. Pallas. The most complete information about these events the guys could find in the electronic collections of the Presidential Library.

Within the framework of the tour, specialists of the regional center demonstrated the students the technology of work in the system of electronic reading room of the Presidential Library.
