The Russian Cultural Center in Beijing opens the doors for Chinese students

November 20, 2017, a group of Chinese schoolchildren from Baoding City, Hebei Province visited the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing as part of the youth awareness program conducted by the Rossotrudnichestvo office in China to promote the Russian language and popularize Russian culture in the host country.

The employee of the cultural center told about the main directions of the work and presented the participants a multimedia presentation about Russia, its culture, traditions and customs of the country. Also, an excursion was conducted around the halls and classrooms of the Russian Cultural Center. The RCC library attracted special interest among schoolchildren.

At the end of the event, the guests were shown a film in Chinese about monuments of architecture in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Russian language". It included manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival materials, scientific works (including dissertations and abstracts of thesis), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. This digital collection is of interest not only for the scientific and educational community, linguists and specialists in the popularization of the Russian language on the Internet, but also for a wide range of lovers and connoisseurs of their native language.
