
A musical and poetic evening "80 minutes around the world" was held at the Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku
December 13, a musical and poetic evening was held at the Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku called "80 minutes around the world".
The poet, translator and journalist, the head of the poetry department of the Literary Azerbaijan magazine, laureate of international prizes and contests Alina Talibova and art director of the musical group "Baku tandem", the author of the song Andrey Krupin presented the audience a literary and music program that included author's poems, songs and musical compositions. All of them are devoted to different corners of the world, which were visited by the authors. Most of them are connected with Azerbaijan and Russia. Alina Talibova also pleased the guests of the evening with a personal photo exhibition "Faces of Russia".
The participants of the evening were greeted by the deputy head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Azerbaijan Alexander Kalamin. He noted that "the day before, on December 12, Russia celebrated the Constitution Day. Today's evening we perceive as a gift of our Azerbaijani friends for this holiday".
The Presidential Library portal presents everyone the electronic collection "Russia-Azerbaijan: Pages of General History". Most of the materials are archival documents that illustrate various aspects of the policy of the Russian Empire in relation to the Baku province at the beginning of the XX century. Diplomatic, military, transport, production and technical, economic, educational, religious and other issues of the joint history of the peoples of Azerbaijan and Russia are also covered.
