The Presidential Library is now opened in the Sladkovsky district of the Tyumen region

December 15 in the Sladkovskaya secondary school of the Tyumen region was held a solemn event - the opening to the audience of an access to the remote reading room of the Presidential Library. Now the schoolchildren of the district have access to the powerful resources of the "temple of literature" of the world scale.

The head of the Sladkovsky Municipal District A. V. Ivanov, his first deputy A. M. Sazhin, the head of the linear technical department of Sladkovsky district of PJSC "Rostelecom" A. I. Tereshchenko, the directors of the schools of the municipality, specialists of the education department, teachers, schoolchildren who attended the event by means of video communication communicated with the director of the branch, the adviser of the director general for external relations of the Presidential Library in the Tyumen region O. L. Shor and the head of the direction on work with Internet resources for user services of the branch of N. A. Kuznetsova.

The head of the municipal district noted the significance of the event, calling it a step towards the future, and solemnly handed the key of access to the Presidential Library resources to the director of the Sladkovskaya secondary school L. G. Kibitseva.

After that, the attendees saw a presentation about the resources of the Presidential Library.

The Tyumen Region is represented on the portal by the collection “Tyumen region: Pages of History”, which includes research, statistical materials, archival documents, visual and audio materials reflecting socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the history of the Tyumen region of the XVI-XX centuries containing materials on the history of Tyumen and Tobolsk.
