The first New Year's performances were held at the Penza Regional Center for Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library
December 26 in the Lermontov Penza Regional Library were held the first New Year's performances. Boys and girls were happy to guess riddles, sing songs and dance with Father Frost and Snow Maiden.
After the event, Father Frost visited the Penza Regional Center for Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library. Despite the venerable age, Grandpa quickly figured out the interface of the electronic library and looked through several interesting books. Grandfather Frost liked the collection of articles and materials of S. S. Bazykin "Christmas Tree" in 1937. This book contains recommendations on making Christmas ornaments and masks, advice on the selection of music and songs for the New Year holiday. The new reader of the library also noted that it is useful for the younger generation to learn about the history of the New Year holidays from the essay of I. N. Bozherianov "How Russian people celebrate and celebrated Christmas, New Year, Epiphany and Pancake Day", published in 1894.
The Presidential Library fund contains a large number of art materials on the theme of the New Year and Christmas. Everyone can find an electronic reproduction of the postcard "Happy New Year!" featuring the symbol of the 1980 Olympic Games.
The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Penza region: pages of history". The collection includes archival documents, essays, studies and statistical materials covering the demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the Penza region at the end of the XVIII century and the first third of the XX century.
