Penza teachers are studying the "ABC of a young voter"
March 5 the Lermontov Penza Regional Library hosted a workshop for teachers "Multimedia lesson “ABC of a young voter”: in the educational and training process". Teachers of the Russian language and literature gathered to study the resources of the Presidential Library.
The Presidential Library collections contain textbooks, teaching aids, training films, which are invaluable additional informational and visual-illustrative material for the preparation and holding of lessons.
During the practical lesson, teachers mastered simple and advanced book search, learned how to correctly set search queries, and got familiar with the collections necessary for professional activities. The "Russian language" collection caused a special interest.
The electronic museum of the constitutional history of Russia attracted the attention of teachers, which is becoming increasingly popular due to the fact that in 2018, 100 years have passed since the adoption of the Constitution of the RSFSR and 25 years since the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
The section "Audiovisual materials" provided teachers with the film "ABC of a voter", and in the thematic collection "The Electoral System in Russia: History and Modernity" they were interested in materials that give a holistic view of the history of the formation of the electoral law in our state, as well as cover its current status.
On the Presidential Library website the Penza region is represented by the collection "Penza region: pages of history". The collection includes archival documents, essays, studies and statistical materials covering the demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the Penza region at the end of the XVIII century and the first third of the XX century. The current Charter of the Penza region is also presented.
