Vietnamese residents have got access to the resources of the Presidential Library

Today, on March 14, 2018, on the basis of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi (Vietnam), a remote center for access to the Presidential Library resources was connected. The grand opening ceremony with the participation of government officials and the media is scheduled for March 23, 2018.

Visitors to the remote electronic reading room in Hanoi have access to the entire fund of the Presidential Library, which today has more than 600 thousand items. These are digital copies of printed publications, documents, abstracts and dissertations, audio and video recordings, as well as other materials reflecting the centuries-old history of Russian statehood, theory and practice of law, the Russian language as the state language of the Russian Federation.

On the portal of the Presidential Library, the thematic collection "Russia-Vietnam: from the history of relationship" is presented in the public domain. It contains publications dedicated to the history of the Vietnamese people and its struggle for independence, the work of Russian and Vietnamese researchers revealing the internal and external economic development of the Socialist Republic Vietnam, as well as documents highlighting certain aspects of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation.

Since today the Presidential Library is represented abroad by more than 30 remote access centers in 29 countries, including Germany, the USA, Italy, Spain, Austria, Great Britain and others.
