
A new issue of the historical magazine “Rodina” was presented in the Presidential Library
On March 16, 2018, the presentation of the March issue of the popular science and history magazine “Rodina” was held at the Presidential Library. The authors of the publication, representatives of the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta", employees and guests of the libraries of Stavropol, Perm, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, as well as the Khabarovsk co-working center "Boiling Point" took part in the videoconference. In addition, for the first time pupils of Lyceum №344 of the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg participated in the presentation.
The third issue this year was presented by Semyon Ekshtut, the leading columnist of the historical journal, Doctor of Philosophy. The main theme of the issue was the 1918 intervention. The story will be added by unique photos from the collection of the Russian State Archive of Cinema and Photo Documents, also included in the issue.

The traditional rubric "The Cuisine of Rodina" will tell how culinary masterpieces appeared on the table during the era of the Soviet deficit.
Presentations of the latest issues of the popular science and history magazine “Rodina” in the Presidential Library have become traditional. They have been held monthly since April 2017 as part of a cooperation agreement between the Presidential Library and the Russian newspaper, which was signed at the end of 2016. Organizations regularly hold joint events: in December 2016, the Multimedia Exhibition "The Year of the “Rodina" 2016: Historical Events in People's Stories" was opened in the Presidential Library, in November 2017, a presentation of its updated version was held, in the building on the Senatskaya Square are held video lectures with the authors of the historical magazine “Rodina”. Digitized copies of the popular science publication systematically enrich the Presidential Library electronic collections.
