A series of postage stamps "XXII Summer Olympic Games of 1980 in Moscow" went into circulation in December 1976. The series includes stamps: A drawing symbolizing the transfer of the relay race of the Olympic Games Montreal (Canada) Moscow (nominal - 4 kopecks + additional postal fee 2 kopecks, circulation 6.5 million copies); Emblem of the Olympiad Moscow-80 (face value - 10 kopecks + additional postal fee 5 kopecks, circulation 5.8 million copies); Also (nominal - 16 kopecks + additional postal fee 6 kopecks, circulation 4.7 million copies). The additional postal fee, indicated by the second par value, came to the fund of the Organizing Committee of the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Inscriptions on stamps: "Games of the XXII Olympiad, Moscow-80", "Mail of the USSR" .
