A rectangular icon with three rounded corners, in the center - a relief image of the Victory obelisk and a symbolic image of the Gold Star medal. In the lower part on the green winding ribbon the inscription: "Minsk". Yellow metal. Stamping. Red and green enamels. The size is 25x20 mm. Pin fastening. Without stigma, the price is 15 kopecks. Location: From a private collection. - The obelisk of Victory, set on Victory Square in Minsk, is depicted on the souvenir badge. It was erected on July 4, 1954 in memory of Soviet soldiers and partisans of the Great Patriotic War. The authors of the monument are architects G. Zaborsky, V. Korol. The height of the obelisk is 38 m, faced with gray granite and completed with the image of the Order of Victory. On the four sides of the pedestal are placed bronze high reliefs, revealing the idea of the monument: "May 9, 1945" (A. Bembel), "Glory to the Lost Heroes" (Z. Azgur), "Soviet Army in the Great Patriotic War" (S. Selikhanov), "Partisans of Belarus" (A. Glebov). As a symbol of Victory, on the basis of the obelisk lies a sword, entwined with a laurel bronze branch. A stepped stylobate (black labradorite) on four sides is flanked by bronze wreaths. On the badge is also an image of the "Gold Star" medal, which is awarded when assigning the high title of "Hero City". The image of the Gold Star medal was allowed to be placed on the flag and the coat of arms of the city. Also in the hero cities, a memorable obelisk with the text of the award Decree and the image of the Golden Star was installed. Minsk was awarded the title of Hero City on June 26, 1974
