On March 28, 2012, the X-th conference "The Young Generation of the 21st Century" was held at the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library. High school students from educational institutions of St. Petersburg and Moscow met to discuss social, cultural and environmental issues of concern to modern adolescents. As experts, representatives of culture, science, and education were invited to participate in the conference. Among them, the President of the Association of historians of the blockade and the battle for Leningrad Yu.I. Kolosov, head of the library museum "Books of the Siege of the City" SG Kolosov, director of the Children's Museum Center for Historical Education Yu. Yu. Matskevich, director of the House of Children and Youth Creativity of the Kalinin district TN Marusenko and others. The main part of the forum was held in the form of discussion round tables. During a break between the discussions for the participants of the meeting, a tour of the Presidential Library took place. At the end of the day, the most active participants of the conference were awarded with diplomas for stating the most interesting questions, finding a solution, the ability to argue their point of view, the most meaningful design of the material. |
