On the postcard picture of the tunnel, located near the Baydarskie gate. The tunnel in the rock was penetrated in the 19th century. during the construction of the Sevastopol highway. He was a kind of visiting card of Foros and had the usual name "Grotto Foros". It was blown up during the Great Patriotic War by German troops when retreating in 1944.
