A monument to teachers and students of the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute, who died during the Great Patriotic War, is installed on the territory of the Institute between buildings # 5 and laboratory. It was opened on November 5, 1986. Authors of the project: sculptor A. G. Deme, architect V. A. Grebenkov. The monument is a bronze figure of a falling wounded soldier, mounted on a stylobate made of gray granite. The height of the figure is 375 cm, the pedestal is 100 cm. On the wall of the building next to the monument is a composition of three memorial plaques on which 56 names have been immortalized. Address: st. Prof. Popova, 5/3 .
