In 1812, Colonel, commander of the 7th Reserve Artillery Brigade. After joining the Danube Army with the 3rd Observation Army, he was appointed artillery commander of the Third Western Army. Participated in the battles near Brest-Litovsk, Borisov, at the river Berezin.
