On May 3, 2000, on the eve of the 55th anniversary of the Great Victory, the presidents of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus visited Prokhorov's land: V.V. Putin, L.D. Kuchma, A.G. Lukashenka. Presidents took part in the memorial service in memory of the fallen soldiers, which Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II committed.
