Photo of the Russian writer Stepan Gavrilovich Petrov. The picture was taken by the famous Nizhny Novgorod photographer Maxim Petrovich Dmitriev in 1900-1901. SG Petrov worked under the pseudonym Skitalets. His life and work was greatly influenced by Maxim Gorky. Together with M. Gorky, E. Chirikov and F.
