In his autobiography, VS Podshivalov reports that he was going to publish in 3 volumes "The Initial Foundations of the Russian Syllable", but "to feel the pulse of the public as it it will be accepted, I forced my Skvortsov's pupil, to publish from time to time the "Course of the Russian syllable" dictated to him.
