The front side of the coin is bordered with a ledge. On the reverse side of the coin is the date of the capture of Koenigsberg: "April 10, 1945", over the date - a five-pointed star. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The medal with the ear and ring is connected with a pentagonal shoe, covered with silk moire ribbon. The tape consists of five stripes alternating with each other: three black and two green. The edges of the tape are bordered by narrow green strips. Features of the medal: the ear of the medal is a separate element, rounded, attached by soldering. This option was manufactured immediately after the end of the Great Patriotic War in 1945-1946. The certificate to the medal: A No. 000594. On the certificate the coat of arms of the USSR has 11 ribbons. The document is filled with blue ink, sealed.
