The medal was awarded on August 2, 1945. The medal is a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the front side of the medal: the profile pectoral image of Stalin IV in the form of the Marshal of the Soviet Union, turned to the left. In the upper part of the medal on the circumference there is the inscription "OUR CASE OF LAW", in the lower part of the circumference there is the inscription "WE WIN." On the reverse side of the coin are inscriptions: along the rim - "FOR VICTORY OVER GERMANY", in the center - "IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR 1941-1945", at the bottom - a five-pointed star. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The medal with the ear and ring is connected with a pentagonal shoe, covered with silk moire ribbon. On the tape 5 longitudinal equal in width alternating strips - 3 black and 2 orange. The certificate to the medal: B No. 00036552. On the certificate the coat of arms of the USSR has 11 ribbons.
