On March 30, 2011, the second meeting of the "Joint Working Group on Elaboration of Principles and Approaches to Combining Representation and Access to Library, Archival and Museum Resources in Accordance with Modern International Standards" took place at the Presidential Library of Boris Yeltsin. The group includes leading specialists of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library, the Federal Archival Agency (Rosarkhiv), the Russian State Historical Archives, the State Archives of the Russian Federation, the Russian National Library, the Russian State Library, the National Information Library Center LIBNET, ZAO "Alt-Soft" and OOO Firm "AS". Participants of the working group discussed the report on the work done in 2010 and agreed on the main directions of work for 2012. During the meeting, the publication of the Russian translation of the ISAD (G) standard, the International Standard for Archival Description, was presented. |
