Currently, the Academy provides preparatory, secondary and higher professional education in the art of choreography. In 1957, on the initiative of MH Frangopoulos, a school museum was founded, in the collection of which there are book rarities, paintings, posters, photographs, theatrical costumes and ballet shoes belonging to famous graduates, and other exhibits related to the history of St. Petersburg ballet. The museum collection includes more than 15 thousand exhibits. April 18, 2016 at the Academy of Russian Ballet named after A. Vaganova held a presentation of the book "Ulanova Galina S.", dedicated to the outstanding Russian Soviet ballerina, ballet teacher, graduate of the Academy of the Russian Ballet. The collection contains articles by critics, ballerina contemporaries, interview records, memoirs, correspondence and archival research materials, many of them are published for the first time. The meeting was attended by the composer of the book - journalist, columnist of the newspaper "Zavtra" Marina Aleksinskaya, as well as choreographer Boris Eifman and representatives of the faculty of the Academy headed by the rector NM Tsiskaridze. - Materials used: "The Academy of the Russian Ballet named after A.
