Sheinin Lev Romanovich is a Soviet lawyer, writer and screenwriter. For the first time I started working in the newspaper in 1919. Since 1928 he acted as a prose writer, since 1936 as a playwright. Known first of all as the author of a collection of short stories about everyday life of the Soviet criminal investigation "Notes of the investigator." His first story "Career of Cyril Lavrinenko" was published in 1928 in the journal "The Court Is Coming!". Further the stories are published in the newspapers Pravda, Izvestia, and in several magazines. Completely the first book of the "Investigator's Notes" was published in 1938 in the publishing house "Soviet Writer". In collaboration with the brothers Tour wrote screenplays of films.
