The photo shows a stele erected in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Red Banner Northern Fleet, located at the entrance to Polyarny , near the checkpoint. The monument is a high tetrahedral concrete stele, installed on a hill. To the stela lead the steps, surrounded by metal posts with an anchor chain. The monument was opened in 1983. Authors of the project: Art. Lieutenant Darkovsky and Captain Mechanin. In 1984, alongside the rig, a 76-millimeter ship gun was installed
