Opening of the Kosmos cinema in Tallinn took place on March 10, 1964. The cinema was designed for 1000 spectators, it was one of the most popular among the inhabitants of the city until the beginning of the 90s. "Space" was the only cinema in the Republic of Estonia with a widescreen screen. In 2014, the building was reconstructed and equipment was replaced, and the name changed to Kosmos IMAX Tallinn. Now the audience is located in three halls, and the main attraction of the cinema is a huge screen, the area of which is 300 square meters. m
