Russian libraries: The Russian State Library has acquired documents from private collections

Head of Rospechat, Mikhail Seslavinsky, presented a gift to the Russian State Library (RSL), a few historical documents from his collection at the "Rumyantsev Readings 2012" conference opened in Moscow.

M. Seslavinsky granted to the library several historical documents from hiscollection. These are a genuine celebration program of the fiftieth anniversary of the Imperial Moscow and Rumyantsev Museum, from which one can learn that 100 years ago, celebrations lasted for two days and were accompanied by All-Night Vigil, the liturgy and prayer service. In addition, the library received the documents of the Society of Architects-Artists, under the patronage of Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna, relating to the memorial event from the archive of architect, artist and bibliophile, a member f the Russian Society of Book Friends, N. B. Baklanov.
