In 1941-1943 years. was a fighter-scout of the Surazh partisan detachment of the Vperyod brigade: she took an active part in organizing an underground printing house in the city of Surazh, distributed Sovinformburo summaries, leaflets, and appeals. As part of the sabotage group, she took part in operations to launch the echelons of the enemy under the escarpment and in the undermining of roads on the Orsha-Unecha railway.
