The monument to Peter the Great in the Baltic Square was opened on September 25, 2006 and is a gift to St. Petersburg by the sculptor and painter ZK Tsereteli. The bronze sculpture in height of 6 m is mounted on a pedestal in height of 7 m, executed from the polished red-cherry granite. Architects FK Romanovsky and AP Chernov.
