The photograph shows Avraamiy Fedorovich Demyanov (1893-1952), native of Ishim district of Tobolsk province, Bolshevik. After the February Revolution of 1917, he was led by one of the detachments of the Red Guards in Omsk, who was sent to Tobolsk to help local Bolsheviks establish a Soviet power and guard the royal family in the city and province. During the June rebellion of servicemen of the Czechoslovak Corps, he was appointed chief of staff of the Omsk Red Guard detachments. He fought as a member of the Third Red Army, rose to the regiment commander. After the Civil War, he held the post of chairman of the city committee of the RCP (B.), Deputy chairman and chairman of the executive committee in Tobolsk .
