On July 8th, 2024 at 12:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library will be hosting a public screening and discussion of the new documentary "Donors of Besieged Leningrad", as well as a roundtable discussion on the topic of "Donors of Hope", which will focus on the development and future of donation in today's world. These events will take place on the occasion of the Day of Family, Love, and Faithfulness, as part of the Public Socio-Cultural Program "I Believe in My People".
The goal of these events is to raise public awareness about the importance of the donation institution as one of humanity's most significant phenomena, and to express gratitude towards those who voluntarily and selflessly donate their blood to save lives, both during difficult times of the blockade in the past and in modern times.
