This was a publication of the Society for the Study of the Olonets province, which was published between 1913 and 1917. Publishing frequency is not defined.  It is known that V. I. Krylov was the editor in 1917, and I.I. Blagoveshchensky and B. N. Mikhailov were the editors from 1913 to 1916. A total of 20 volumes were published during this period. The publication featured the results of scientific and local historical work of the society. Articles on history, archaeology, geography, biology, ethnography, and folklore were mainly published by authors such as A. F. Shidlovsky, M. A. Krukovsky, K. A. Dokuchaev-Baskov, and V. P. Drobov. Individual volumes also included bibliographic indexes of literature related to the Olonets region. Each volume had a volume of 100-180 pages.
