Commemorative dates of Russia: Exhibition marking 130th anniversary of Anna Akhmatova’s birth to open in Moscow

The exhibition “I am Probably the Voice of Many People…” is opening on June 21, 2019 in the Museum of Silver Age in Moscow to mark the 130th anniversary of Anna Akhmatova’s birth. It is based on the extensive collection housed in the Dal State Museum of the History of Russian Literature.

Just a part of the collection of the Dal Museum, which is associated with the poet’s name, is on display on the third floor of the Bryusov House: visual materials, graphic works, photographs, book covers (lifetime publications). A short film was prepared ahead of the exhibition. Both - the video, which is based on photo materials from the museum’s collections, and Anna Akhmatova’s unique voice arouse interest.
