The Scientific and Cultural Centre of the Pushkin Reserve presents a virtual exhibition "Russian Folk Costume in Miniature".

The exhibition shows the traditional clothes of peasants of Pskov Region of Russia in the XIX century. The textile miniatures were created by craftswomen from the Creative Museum Programs Centre in the village of Bugrovo. The volume appliqués of 30–40 cm high are based on traditional folk dolls. They represent a reconstruction of the Russian costume - complete sets of men's, women's, children's clothing, both everyday and festive, designed for different weather and different seasons. The costumes were reconstructed on the basis of genuine peasant clothes and recreated in the smallest detail. They include all the components of the image from the underwear shirt to the hat and belt.
